Swinton’s Quote applies to Politicians as well as to Journalists, and clearly to both sides of the Atlantic. In Boris´s Case he is both Journalist and Politician but further he has dual British/American Citizenship ( he was supposed I think to have been giving up his US citizenship when the IRS were chasing him for unpaid taxes. At the end of the day Boris is also part Turkish and like Erdogan something of a Wankerer, He is also a fan of the Flashman novels, Boris Johnson the Gift that keeps on giving
