Applying this to Israel where Jesus was speaking, the parable says that the Kingdom of God will be established as the gospel and the Spirit spread from village to village and economic life was restored.
Jesus warned about a different type of yeast.
Be careful. Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees (Matt 16:6).
The Pharisees and the Sadducees ignored the instructions for economic life, but they collaborated with the Romans to protect their position and privilege. Jesus later warned that those who had collaborated with the Romans would be destroyed. The collaboration system would eventually be swept away (Matt 24.) When that happened, economic strength could shift to the villages, if they had prepared by applying the instructions for economic life that God had given to them.

I listened to this earlier today as well.
its a talk by the Late John Hurst
it has a lot of interesting points to make but I found this comment less than encouraging. at 30.17 he says Cromwell borrowed money from “Jews in Europe” and goes on the recount a tale of Having some on his Beat where he had been a police officer. I found it quite shocking to hear this casual dismissal as “Those Jews” as untrustworthy and undesirable. At the stage of the current shakiness of the Corrupt Establishments project, they would delight in the provocation of previously seeded divide and rule canards. With free speech hugely under attack, it seems something of a silly own goal to trot out ancient animosities as somehow relevant to modern events and attitudes.
This commenter from 5 years ago obviously found the comments less grounded than some of the other more nuanced research which forms the main part of the talk.
“Very interesting presentation. On the Talmud point, I would say that only a tiny fraction of Jews today are very familiar with the Talmud. Certainly, the kinds of Jewish people who rise to positions of influence in law or politics are very unlikely to be Talmudic scholars. Furthermore, the scientific method per se is really a child of the 19th Century. At the time of the Magna Carta or even the Glorious Revolution, hypothesis testing and repeatability were hardly the hallmarks of knowledge systems or the backbone of Western civilization. (Of course, there are many well-known Jewish doctors, mathematicians, and physicists in addition to lobbyists and lawyers.) Regards

Of the Protocols themselves little need be said in the way of introduction. The book in which they are embodied was published by Sergyei Nilus in Russia in 1905. A copy of this is in the British Museum bearing the date of its reception, August 10, 1906. All copies that were known to exist in Russia were destroyed in the Kerensky regime, and under his successors the possession of a copy by anyone in Soviet land was a crime sufficient to ensure the owner’s of being shot on sight. The fact is in itself sufficient proof of the genuineness of the Protocols. Mr. Henry Ford, in an interview published in the New York WORLD, February 17th, 1921, put the case for Nilus tersely and convincingly thus:
“The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on. They are sixteen years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time. THEY FIT IT NOW.”
I believe that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion to have been a forgery based upon the plagiarised dialogue written by Maurice Joly. I agree with Henry Ford though they and Joly’s work, a Satire on Napoleon 111 describe very well how to conduct a totalitarian regime. The Cue Bono aspects of the present and past totalitarian regimes does not begin and end with Because “The Jews”, “The Blacks”, “The British Empire”, “The Great Satan”, such convienient scapegoating would benefit the true Provocateur whichever “Regime” and enabling structure surrounds that regime.
