Llantrisant on the mountain.

Llantrisant from her mountains
Smiles o’er Morganwg’s vale
And gives to mighty London
A leal lord mayor from Wales.

Then Children of Llantrisant
Let this your motto be
By Honesty and Virtue
Virtue and honesty.

Though Cottage homes be ruthless
And ruins rent so far
So picturesque in beauty
Is this old town of ours

Then Children of Llantrisat
Let this your motto be
by honesty and virtue
Virtue and honesty

School Hymn sung by the Harrison Twins Anne and Aud, brought up in Ruperra Street and moved to 34 Dan Caerlan in the 1950’s

“Llantrisant from her mountains

Smiles o’er Morganwg’s vales

And gives to mighty London

A leal lord mayor from Wales.”
